  1. Preheat oven to 220C.
  2. Chop the potatoes to 2cm wedges with the skin on. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Spread them out in a single layer on a baking tray and cook for 35 minutes, turning midway.
  3. Combine breadcrumbs, egg and mince beef with salt and pepper. Split the mixture into 2 and make 2 balls, squash the balls to form burgers.
  4. Fry the burgers in oil for 15 mins. Turning them regularly. Turn the heat off and add the cheese to the top and give it time to melt.
  5. Warm the burger buns in the oven for 3-4 minutes. When everything is ready, add the mayonaise and burger to the toasted burger buns and serve with the chips.
